In 2025, Empact Partners went deep on AI Engine Optimization (AEO). We helped brands get found in AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode. We built playbooks, ran campaigns, and published research that put AEO on the map for companies across industries.
The deeper we went, the clearer one problem became. There were no tools built for this new reality. Existing SEO platforms were retrofitting old dashboards with AI labels. The few "AI visibility" solutions that popped up were little more than API wrappers. They'd send a prompt to ChatGPT, show you the response, and call it "AI visibility tracking." Most required marketers to manually upload queries, select countries, and configure settings. And tracking alone wasn't enough. Everyone could pull data from AI engines. The hard part was doing something meaningful with it.
Why We Built Qvery
That gap between what marketers needed and what the market offered became the founding insight behind Qvery. Rather than wait for legacy platforms to catch up, we co-founded Qvery to build something designed from scratch for the agentic web.
